Snakku

It seems impossible we’re in the middle of October. My mind is still in late summer, partly because of the hot weather here, I’m sure. I need to brace myself for: HalloweenThanksgivingChristmasNewYears. And if you’re like me, I vow every year to be better prepared and more thoughtful for the holidays. But it’s hard to think ahead, even 2 weeks from now. So it might be premature for me to mention Christmas, but I came across something special, something that would make a nice gift, if you happen to be thinking ahead.

Snakku is a subscription service, delivering premium Japanese snacks from Japan. There is a different theme each month and the box I received featured a wide variety of rusks. In future months, you can look forward to themes based on a type of snack, a specific snack maker, a region of Japan, or a season/holiday. Your box comes beautifully packaged in an exclusively designed furoshiki and the snack selection is very generous. What sets Snakku apart from other subscription services is their featured snack is sourced directly from local Japanese shops that have been making snacks for years, if not generations. I love that they are making them available here.

I encourage you to check it out, especially since Snakku is giving a special discount to Humble Bean readers. Enter HUMBLEBEAN at checkout and receive 10% off a subscription! Also, I should let you know to check in with them in a couple of months because they will start offering a Tasting Box, available for only $10.

I received a free box from Snakku, but this is not a sponsored pot. I usually decline requests for product reviews but felt Snakku offered a product that would be of particular interest to you. Hope you give them a try!
